Lake Bunyonyi is located in south-western Uganda between Kisoro and Kabale, and its close to the border with Rwanda. It is a fresh water lake with a maimum length of 25kms and it is 7km wide. It is about 900metres deep, possibly the deepest around the World. The towns of kyevu and Muko border its shores and it comprises 29 islands icluding punishment island and Bushara Island.

From around the World, it is referred to as a lovely lake where tourists take boat trips on the lake, carry out fishing as a sport and get to stay on the many resorts that sorround the lake. Locally and internationally arranged trips can be organised in case you require.
